adjusting idle 82 380sl

have 82 380sl with high idle 2000 rpm.
where the heck is the adjusting screw for the idle on this car?
the repair cd says to turn the knob for idle adjustment on instrument panel to right.
where the heck is the idle adjustment on the instrument panel

please help.
my 76 n450slc has a screw adjustment facing you as you look into the motor

The 1981 & later cars(V-8's) have COMPUTER controlled idle speed. There is a computer inside the car & a idle solenoid valve on the engine. Many times the Overvoltage relay doesn't power-up the computer.

where is the overvolage relay 380sl

where is the overvoltage relay
and idle solenoid valve on the 82 380sl?

The OVP and idle relay are above the passenger footwell on the right side. You take the under-dash panel off to get to them.

The valve is a cylinder strapped to the intake manifold, sort of right behind the thermostat housing.
