I recently replaced my performed an AC recharge of my car(replaced compressor, expansion valve and r/d and a good flushing put R12 back in) and all is good. Tonite my daughter complained she was cold and I turned the dial toward the heat and the 'recirc' button/light flashed and was clicking a couple times and then max heat came from the defrost. It would not adjust after that (back to clod etc.) just max defrost.
Last year in August I replaced the CC PB panel and the blower motor. I also replaced the porcupine today as I got one off eBay on a good deal and thought I may need it. Checked the monovalve and its ok(replaced 2 years ago.) The recirc light/switch blinks/clicks a few times and if I dont 'feather it' back towards cool I lose cool altogether. I did this with the replaced blower reg and the old one. To me it sounds like maybe a relay problem or is it a problem with the temp potentiometer in the CC pb?? PS-- I don't have a layout of the relays only fuses. A relay diagram would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't get upset but I'll tell you like I did someone yesterday that I could care less what you have replaced, it bears no part in a usefull diagnostic unless we look for things you coud have done wrong in those areas.
The absolute worse thing one can do is assume anything works just cause it was replaced. I'm not sure I understand your symptoms as at the beginning of your post you describe being stuck in defrost mode (which is max heat and max blower - always) and then comes this sentence: "The recirc light/switch blinks/clicks a few times and if I dont 'feather it' back towards cool I lose cool altogether. I did this with the replaced blower reg and the old one." It sure sounds like a PBC problem. What year car is this? The only time I have seen recirc lights blink there were fault codes. Only the latest 126 cars had AC fault codes. (I think).
