acessing codes 94s420
hello,, can any one tell me how to acsess my x11/21s on 1994 s420 my CE,,lite came on the car seem,s to STUMBLE ,S while stop at lite. seem,s to pull bit heavy any help ,,,, would be thankful,,,, i read that ther is a way that i can acsess the code my self to se what,s going on thank,s for any HELP

You can build your own reader (like I did for my 94 E420).

You don't really need a tool. Put the key in position 2 with the engine not running, press the button for two seconds, count flashes, hold the button for another two seconds, count the next set of flashes, etc.

But that only reads one set of codes. There are lots of other modules that he can read with the tool.

Of course. You can only get basic engine codes from the LED. For detail engine codes and other systems you need a reader.

And it's a fun project. I think I have a post somewhere on how I did mine including all Radio Shack parts used.
