stupid tuneup question
well here goes...
did a search and everything but came up so here's my question. has anybody, person, book or whatever actually outlined what is entailed in a full blown tune up. step by step. such as step 1. open the hood and so on with the final being close the hood and turn off the lights. i'd be interested in the 126 420sel and the 72 350/450sl. input is appreciated.

Some possibilities:
1. Pick up the owner's manual for the specific car and compile a list of items from the major warranty service requirements.
2. Find out what they're using for a textbook at the local vocational high school auto shop courses. 3. Most of the "Haynes" manuals have a pretty thorough list and instructions as chapter 1.
