Martin,
Is the check valve built into the leveling valve? The leveling valve has the bleeder screw and sometimes the leveling valve will go bad ($$$$).

It's also my understanding that the valve can be rebuilt....It has been explained in another post in this forum that the valve uses o rings internally and it or they are replacable if you have the tools to open the valve. Try a search to see if you can locate it. Hope this helps.

Bzoo - thanks for pointing that out. I will do the search and see what I can do about that valve - it would be great if I could rebuild it.
