Angry Hot in Phoenix!

I have heat with the Climate Control on OFF. I replaced the
heater valve and....heat! Ugh! Maybe there's no vacuum to
the heater valve? Where to trouble-shoot? I have an 87
MB 190E with 2.3L. It was 110 today, in the shade! Thanks
for any help.

I am also in Phoenix, and although I don't have any specific answers, I do have a SnapOn Code Reader, which reads HVAC codes.

If you want to stop by my shop (motorcycle repair shop, cars are my hobby) I would be happy to hook it up and see what it says.

If this helps, email me direct and I'll give you my phone number.
