Question Centre Console lamp replacement in SLK 230

Hi,

I have one of the first SLK 230 Komps, and very nice it is too...

One of the lamps in the centre console, lighting up the heater controls has blown.

Whats the best way of getting in to replace it?

I've also got a rear right brake light that constantly goes on the blink. its not the lamp. This a common fault?

Thanks,

L

for the brake light, you need some stuff called ox guard, you can get it at ace hardware in the electrical dept. works well, it has better contact. My light drove me nuts for weeks till I fixed it with that. good luck!
