Hey mopermike, check for cracks in the solder joints, on the
outside is usually where you see it, not at first but look closely.
Some people say, just re touch all of them, which is probably
better idea since you might not see all the faulty ones.
Also if it smell really badly, like something burned, it might
be dead, that's how mine went.

lesrrt I haven't tried playing with the cruise control myself,
just left it non working, maybe I should try it also

But first I have to hammer a bad cold start problem out
of the car.
