Does the OVP cause the 190E to have a high idle

Hey Gents,

If upon replacing a blown fuse on an OVP the idle goes high and stays high, does that indicate a bad OVP relay (took the new fuse out and the idle dropped back down to normal). With a new fuse in the OVP the car still started hard but the idle was racing. My thinking is that if I replace the OVP, my idle and my starting should be right???... Any takers??

Loving my 190 E (Silver) it's a sweet ride.

Ken
