The car is 4 years old and 50k miles 2000 E430. There are several GL5 gear oils: 75W90, 80W90 and 85W90 and 90W
Which oil and what brand do you recommended ? Thanks

If still under warranty, just get the MB gear oil from Randy at EPS Parts (http://www.epsparts.com) or the partsforum here.

I personally run SWEPCO 201 gear oil 80w-90 from Pelican Parts. RC Imports who races MB swears by it, the Porsche Club, and so do I.
