Hello:
I just got my hands on a vacuum adjust switch for my '82 300CD with Hella european headlights. I'm not really that anal retentive (OK, maybe a little), but I was wondering if anyone had an original euro car with the vacuum adjust that could tell me the proper way to route the vacuum lines. I know I could just tap into the vacuum source and run the lines anywhere convenient, but I'd like to do it right. Also, the vacuum switch has two connectors (labled 1 and 2). Which goes to the vacuum source, and which goes to the lights? Or does it matter? And what position (0-3) should the lights be in normally? IE, which position should I be in when I aim them? A little info on each position would actually be great... Thanks in advance!
