11 is the code I got from the red led on the diagnosticks unit of my 90' 300CE after the "check engine" light came up. "Air injection system implauseble" is the reason.
Unfortunately it doesn't tell me anything (never mind that I needed the Websters dictionary for the "implauseble" part)
What is wrong with the car?

You must have Calif. spec car. This means anything that doesn't allow air from air pump to enter exhaust system & affect the oxygen sensor readings is at fault. Vacuum lines, rubber hoses, diverter valve & even the O2 sensor can cause this.

Previously I had code 17 which ment O2 sensor signal whire is shorted. I reset the dgnstks. unit and it never came up again.
Code 11 came up 2 times before this one. I had reset it every time. It would come up at about 2-3 weeks intervals but not right after reseting. Also it all started to happen shortly after I replaced the OEM mafler with Brullen. Any connection between all these events?

Muffler doesn't come into play on this system at all. Make sure that vacuum system is in order & all of air injection system rubber hoses are in order.
