Bad trip for my car, warning lights!
Took the C230 to the mountains and back this last week, and just as we're getting ready to leave, I notice the gas gauge is reading empty though I filled it a minute prior.
Great. Sending units are finally out, and I'm just a few days out of warranty. Rotten luck. Then, while waiting in line in Jasper, I shut the car off. As I restart, the SRS light goes out, and about a second later, it comes back on. Great. Probably the buckle or maybe somthing else. Cripes, is the car going to have ANYTHING working by the time we get home? Sheesh. For 6 1/2 years the car has hardly had anything go wrong, and now two stupid things within a week of the warranty expiring? Is this an omen?

I'd DEFINITELY try the dealer. Any company worth iat least ts weight in dog poop has a "hidden" warranty policy that is several weeks to months LONGER than the stated, legal warranty. This is because the WORST feeling in the world is what has happened to you. We actually had a written policy on our phone warranty that was to "...put 'em on hold for a minute...then let them know that you think that you can sneak it in..."
