I read on one of the forums something about the newer models having a rear-view mirror that you can program w/your garage door opener. Although not generally a "gadget" person, this sounds like a great idea (particularly with very little storage in '94 E420.) Called local MBZ dealer, was told they don't make one to fit my car (plus they're about $1400!!!) Anyone know of similar aftermarket gadget??? Thanks in advance. --Mitch

You can get keyring style transmitters. Not exactly the same thing, but a helluva lot cheaper. (I have the rearview mirror transmitter, very cool, works great) The mirror allows up to three different functions
