Wind Noise
I have read all I can find about wind noise and 126 cars. It seems that the out side mirrows can cause a problem but I couldn't find anything about what to do about it. It seems some 126s do it and some don't. Some do it on the left side and others on the right side. This tells me that there is something wrong with the ones that do make the noise. Does anyone know what to do about the noise as in how to fix it?
Thanks

wind noise
Are you sure it is the mirrors? Our 190e was very noisy, on the driver's side. on examination, it was apparent that the top of the door was sprung out by about 1/8 inch. I confirmed that this was the source of the noise, by winding the window up onto a rag, so that I could pull on the rag and pull the top of the door inwards. The fix consisted of winding the window down, putting a knee in the middle of the door, and pulling in on the top of the door. After several tries, the fit of the seal at the top of the door looked like the passenger's door seal, and it was quiet. It seems a bit crude, but it worked.

Good tip ajme
I'll give that a try and see if it works. The wind noise caused by the mirrors is a well documented problem but I can't seem to find a fix for the problem.
