Hi,
I been searching high and low for the location of the OverRelay Voltage in a '94 E420. I was told it is behind the battery-looking box on the passenger side of the engine.. but I do not see it, can anyone help? Is there a picture (jpg, gif) that shows the location of all relays? ------------------ Joe Lin |

On the 400E/E420 the overvoltage is in the computer box under the hood. It's called the base module. The W124 service CD has componet locations in the ETM(wiring).

Thanks..
Is the battery-looking box that is labeled "Battery In Trunk" where this computer module is located? Can I unbolt the screws and open the black plastic cover without breaking my car? Thanks.. |

I should be saying, Over-Voltage relay..
A kind gent from the newsgroups said I should check the OverVoltage Relay on the E420 because my car was having strange starting problems and sometimes it'll cut off while I am driving.. so.. does an over-voltage relay exist in a '94 E420? Or have they eliminated it since?! |
