Question C280 door lock

I can no longer lock or unlock the drivers side door on my C280. The passenger side and the trunk both work fine. The locy cylinder assy rotates left and right with little if any resistance. Any ideas as to what the problem is would be appreciated.
Thank you
Mike

Did you check the vacuum lines to the door lock? There could be a leak or broken or detached line.

If the door locks AND unlocks with the central locking button inside the car, then the vacuum lines and actuator should be fine.
I would then look into the lock cylinder itself.
There's a part that joins the cylinder to the mechanism that might have come undone. If it's the cylinder itself, as far as I know, on the 202s, it's sealed and needs to be replaced.
