2001 Mb Slk 230

We have a weird problem with an 01 SLK 230.

The car has about 15K on it and the owner reports that the
brakes have "failed" on 3 seperate occasions. The last
time, he ran into his garage.

My initial understanding was that this was a one time event and I was ready to call it operator error until I found out late Friday that it had happened 3 times. I will find out Monday if the pedal got hard or went to the floor.

He has told us that he does not want the car back until we
have fixed something. Inspections and numerous road tests
have revealed nothing.

I have searched the FIX database and found nothing. I have
also searched the TSB's in alldata and looked at the NTSB
safety recalls and found nothing.

Ever see or hear of something like this?

Regards, Skip
