Prices of prewars...
Recently Mercedes Enthusiast had an article about a fetching '38 230 Cabriolet "B" in England.
I wonder if someone tracks what this model and similar stuff sells for? It seems VERY rare in the US. This was one of Mercedes "midline" cars...not the entry 170 or some rare Kompressor monster. Mechanically, I would say this car was the equivalent of something like a Packard Super-8 convertible coupe...you can get a really good one for well under $50k, with cheap parts and beaucoup club support. Any ideas re this car or even a standard closed car? |
