Sources for window felt?

Hi there:

my 1972 W109 300 SEL needs new window felt all around Is there a reasonable source other than Mercedes directly?

window felt

im looking for the same stuff.specifically the clip on strips pf weatherstrip and felt that seal the bottom edge of the windows at the door

http://www.millermbz.com quoted me $90 for the felt for four windows and $.75 per clip ( 14 inner and 14 outer clips are required if you're not reusing any of your old ones).

My window felt is shot and needs to be replaced as well.

Have you tried your local Mercedes Dealer? I'm in the UK, but most of the parts I order are shipped from Germany, I paid £12 each for a strip of sealing rail which was long enough to do all the side windows. I bought two lengths and did the inside and outside The clips were £0.22 each.

I've always found my local parts guy really good and have always been amazed at the parts availability. For reference, When I first bought my fintail I needed a new glass pane for the rear quarter (£20) and a wiper mechanism £80
