FS: '63 220S (Not Mine)
Just in case anyone has been searching:
There is a pretty nice '63 220S for sale locally here (SW of Buffalo), finner w/ stacked headlights. Cream in color w/ an older resto. Interior is very nice, paint is good, chrome is all good (except bumpers), has books, little to no rust from what I could see, 89k 'original' mi, started right up, etc. Definitly a garage queen that has been off the road since 1988. Not perfect, but nice. Guy is asking $3500 for it. I was brought home from the hospital in a similar Benz, so I thought I would throw it up here in case anyone's been searching. PM me if you want the guys #. -M- (ps: In trying to confirm in my memory whether that would be a w110 or w111 my books don't list a "220S" for 1963... odd...but then my books aren't always entirely accurate.

Very strange book not to list a 220S for 1963. It would definitely be a W111. W110's are four bangers and diesels. I think they are also the second generation 65-67 230's (Not 230S's) that were straight six engines shoe horned into the short nose four cylinder body style.
89K miles in nothing for a 41 year old car, can that be right?

The man claims that that's the original milage. The car has sat for at least 16yrs and definitely looks like it was a garage queen before that.
