flat tire on 84 mercedes wrench needed

i removed the lugs from the tire. then the center piece....but there there was axel bolts in the middle (center of wheel) i know i need a special tool...what is the name of the tool and what is the cost...my car is sitting @ the gas station

The 5 lug bolts are the only things holding the wheel. If it won't come off, perhaps it is held by rust or something. Try tapping on the tire from the inside. Of course be careful not to knock the car off the jack. Do not remove the bolt on the axle.

If your talking about the rear axle wheels, the center bolt head you see there is for retaining the axle shaft...

You may have the wheel stuck to the center hub if it has not dropped off after removing the five wheel bolts.....hit the inside of the trye with a piece of 2x4 or something to knock the wheel from the hub.

If your really in a bind kicking the rubber tire with your foot usually will free them up, then rotate and kick the other side to "rock" it off. If the 5 lugs are out the wheel is 100% stuck by rust / scale build up.
