W114 front subframe mounts - torque?

Anyone know how tight the front subframe bolts should be torque - and you do the final tightening with the car on the ground, right?

No real torque specification, just tighten until they "bottom out", so to speak.

The bolts compress the rubber somewhat, then suddenly get much harder to turn. Once there, stop.

That's kind of what I thought - just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something.

For the record, 40 ft lbs seems to be about right.
