Hirschmann power antenna

Thank you for the advice on my last posting regarding the hood insulation for the my 1972 280 SEL. I'll check out the suggested sources.

The Becker Europa in my 72 SEL 4.5 works in both AM and FM bands. However, the mast on my power antenna was broken off when I purchased the car. I have ordered another Hirschmann antenna from Becker of North America ($70), but the power antenna itself is in tougher shape than I originally anticipated. There is a fair amount of corrosion inside the housing and it doesn't seem to work any longer.

Does anyone have, or know of, a replacement Hirschmann 6000H power antenna? If all else fails, Becker says that they will take a look at rebuilding it, but it is so old, they doubt they would have the parts.

Thanks!
