Update:
After checking with two companies that make spark plug inserts, I can't get one big enough to rethread the hole and use a new insert. I took the loctite-type stuff that came with the helicoil I bought and screwed the old insert back in with that. So far it is holding. I checked PNP's inventory for anything with an M130 engine and they didn't have it. How hard is it to put an M110 head on an M130 short block? Not that I'd do it, but I might want that information to give to a potential buyer.

Can't be done. M110 is a twin cam whereas the M130 is a single cam.
I do have a 95% complete M110 looking for a good home. |
