The other oddity you see once in a very great while on the earliest 108/9 cars is Fintail chrome side dash vents. Another fun trivial fact is that there were two versions of the lower dash pad for non A/C cars. One had the bulge where the A/C vents would go covered by a wood blanking plate, and the other was like a Fin CCV lower dash- just a straight padded piece with no bulge for A/C vents. I had a customer years ago with a Euro 6.3 with the straight lower dash pad and a Behr A/C unit below it!
