W114 coupe, right front fender
I'm having trouble finding a decent right front fender for my '71 250C. Its the passenger side series 1 with the small opening for smaller bumper mounts. Any leads would be appreciated.

Coupes and sedans are the same. W114's, W115's front wings/fenders from '68-72 (including some early production '73's) interchange.

There was a guy on craig's list near Pittsburgh that had fiberglass fenders last year. No clue if that ad is still running.
I think I still have a 71 coupe in a garage in Reading, PA. You are welcome to a fender if you pull it yourself (presuming you're anywhere near by). -CTH |

I confirmed with the Irvine Classic parts guys, coupe is same as sedan. Only difference is with series 1 & 3 differences in bumper bracket cut-out size. By the way Mercedes has no new stock anywhere in the world. I think that I've found one on west coast. Shipping may be as much as the fender though.

Actually, I was just in my garage and I have a pair of 250 sedan fenders sitting up in the rafters. They're a bit ratty, but it doesn't look like rust-through. I have bring a step ladder up there to get them down to do better than the photos attached.

Thanks, I'll let you know soon. I found a pretty nice one on the west coast. I'm waiting to see what the shipping cost is going to be.

Check with Greyhound. I've used them to ship fenders and they had the best rates for the oddball size of the fender. The drawback is the parcel needs to be delivered and picked up at their terminals.

I was poking around craig's list tonight and I stumbled across those fiberglass fenders...

thanks, but I found a decent steel fender in Merlin, OR. As I suspected the shipping was almost the cost of the fender itself.
