108 Mercdes Manual shift bushings

Hello All Mercedes 108 owners / *A Little help in my search anyone by chance know where to get some ? perhapa a link or part #
Looking to finally fix my Sloppy Manual shifting.Need Bushings and see them nowhere ? Photo Below
I replaced the Upper shifting Teflon Bushings from shifting column *to shifting rods after they fell off one day lol
But my worst perhaps Problem may be " where the Shifting Rods " insert into the Bushings that are inserted to the manual Shift arms of the Transmission itself ( is a 4 forward speed Manual column Shift Transmission )
In the attached Photo I found it looks like the bushings are worn out I notice a Gap along the edge it seems humm .

I am not sure but I think there are 2 types of these transmissions A Top Shift
& a Side shift type . I finally Found a Photo of the type I think I Have but am not 100 % Sure as I can't see up there at all and I don't think it has a removable Floor Pan cover to work on the Transmission . I hope I don't have to remove it just to fix the Bushings Etc . They look in the photos like Rubber ?*But perhaps they are a stronger Teflon in fact ?
I can see the one on the side and the rod is Very sloppy where it inserts and moves in what's left of the Bushing .
Can you Buy new Bushings or can I adapt some other Bushings Perhaps as a workaround Perhaps *?
Has Anybody fooled with , worked on* this issue before ? by chance and or know where to get Parts for this Fix by chance ?.
I have a feeling I may have to find a workaround as I have seen none anywhere*But perhaps I could find them if I Had the part numbers for them ?*

ANOTHER PHOTO

Loaded another photo : I shall try to get a actual Photo from the car itself but most likley may not be able to do such as the trans is very hard to see from under the car humm ( also hard to work on ) I expct the Bushings I will have to do by just fealing them togeather . I can see a cotter Key holding the rod to one of them > I can only feel the top one so far .

Thanks all for any insite / help

I had these fall apart on a 1962 Buick with a factory four speed. It was not real complicated but the parts were not available from a Buick dealer.

I just took the shift levers to a machine shop and said to install some new bushings. Such shops are around, usually listed as 'welding' shops, and if they can't fix it they will likely know someone who can.

The parts from Buick were some kind of nylon. I replaced them with bronze bushings I found at a hardware store.

Just pull out what's left of one, take it to the Home Depot or Menards, and ask someone if they have such a thing in bronze. If you get the wrong size then go back and get the right size.

It was close work, but it only took one evening to do it all. I was back on the track the next day.

Part Numbers needed :

Thanks for reply :
Yes I realize I can make up my own Bushings Thanks : However it has been my experience that if you have the " Part number " ( something I wish I had )
You can look up the Part that way with the Part number : Many places only list old parts by Part numbers and several Members here have the Part numbers
for all the Parts on the 108 Mercedes Car's * Anybody happen to have the Part numbers for these Bushings ? Pleassssseeee
Thanks all*

Not sure if my coupe uses the same part (side shift) but I may have the # on a flash drive somewhere. I will take a look later today. Is it both ends of the shift rods you need? They are rubber at the trans and "nylon" at the shifter on mine.

Here is the address of the Mercedes Parts network. I used to find the parts on my W114 column shifter. I was able to buy the parts from MB Classic.

Thanks for heads up reply :
I allready replaced the upper Ends of the Shift rod bushings they are Small teflon or Nylon and just pop on the round End of the Shift levers that go to the Column shift .( Those are Not costly and you can buy them seperate or with a small part of the threaded rod and just attache them)
The Lower Bushings I am allmost sure are All Rubber . They are a Large Diameter and I can only really see the Lower One
I may have to remove the Transmission to change them / Make up some bushings ( I hope not ) Once I get a part number I can search for them .
Most likley they are some 50 Yrs old Ect and just plane worn out .
I Don't really want to cut a hole in the floor ( no floor inspection pan thanks mercedes ) At the very least lower the Transmission down to get to it .
I can see a cotter pin holding the rod to bushing .
