Question W109 300SEL 4.5 radiator cap

Hi all,
What is the correct radiator cap for W109, M117 4.5 year 1972?
100bar or 120bar?

one bar = 14.5 PSI.

1450 PSI MIGHT be considered a tad excessive.

The markings are for Kilopascals.

One kilopascal = 0.145 PSI.

I'd suggest the 100 kPa.

Thank you, is 1bar / 100 kpa original? Is there going to be a problem if using 120kpa?

I found radiator number part number from EPC and it is A1235010215. On all places it is marked ”120” …?

H:
1) "Is there going to be a problem if using 120kpa?" If the entire cooling system (including the heater core and its valves and hoses) were in new condition it would withstand 17-18 psi/1.2 bar/120 kpa just fine. The marking on the parts illustrated in the EPC should be understood to be the maximum operating pressure.
2) With a 50/50 ethylene glycol/water coolant 100 kpa pressurization will be sufficient to prevent formation of steam bubbles.
