remove external chrome strip top of door W108 technique

I am making my way around restoring my door and windows. But, can't find how to remove the chrome strip on the outside at the top of the door.

Don't want to just start yanking.

Any tips - 1967 250S

I think I’ve damaged a few myself, but if you slide a flat object along, I think you can find where the friction fit clips are located and focus your mild twist of a skinny shaft flathead on the clips, perhaps a little at a time on each.

Ok. I did it. You find a skinny eyeglass type screw driver. Lift bottom outside edge of door trim. Insert screwdriver under and on the inside return of the trim. Careful not to be on paint. Slide screwdriver until you feel a clip. Now. Press on the inside return part of trim while pushing up. Voila. Only the first is hard. After that you can see what you are doing and easily find rest of clips. The clips are the same ones that hold the scrapper felt on. So that gives you an idea of where they are.

Plastic trim tools are always better than anything metal to remove trim.
