M115 cylinder head specifications

For general knowledge.

Total height of cylinder head when new 84.5-85.0 mm (3.327"-3.346")
Permissible total material removal 0.8 mm (0.031")
Permissible unevenness of surface 0.1 mm (0.004")
Minimum thickness/height 83.7 mm (3.295")

From MB M115 service manual, section 01-0/2, page 54

According to the service manual this applies to the OM615 as well with the added caveat of if the head is re-surfaced, the appropriate shims need to be used for the prechamber protrusion. 5.5-5.9 mm (0.216"-0.232").
