W110 Body Shop Chassis Dimensions Sheet

Hi, all.

My vintage road racer build project has resumed progress and is now at the body shop on a frame bench. The car has led a hard life, and while it has surprisingly little rust, it seems that the previous owner was a bit of a Mr. Magoo character, regularly running it into things and bending or breaking important bits underneath and up top, and the repairs were amateurish at best, so we really have our work cut out for us.

Our first task is to get all four corners pointing in the same direction and on an even keel, and for this I am trying to find a chassis dimensions sheet, the kind that shows an outline of the body with various chassis datum points and associated dimensions that a body shop would use to ensure that a damaged chassis has been restored to factory specifications. I'd be happy to buy a photocopy or an original if anyone can point me in the right direction, although free would be better.

Best Regards,
Rob

There's a page in the big blue book, section 61 or 63 IIRC, that has it. Let me see if I can dig it up. -CTH

Thanks, CTH!

Also, I'm looking for straight, solid radiator upper and lower supports for the 110.011 chassis with the six-cylinder petrol engine if anyone has spares.

Best Regards,
Rob

your best bet is a sliced off nose from a mid-west car. -CTH
