officially retiring from the restoration hobby

Hello Peaches,

I have finally come to the conclusion of my life restoring Mercedes Benz automobiles. It has been a worthy passion. But now I don't have the passion and energy it takes to do it. I have a 1957 220S that needs to have the engine installed. I have parts from the fifties to the seventies; some are made of unobtainium. I would like to find someone who can purchase my entire collection of parts, tools and the 1957 Ponton. send me a DM if interested.

Best regards,

Jeffrey

Sorry to hear. I hope your future endeavors will be fruitful and enjoyable. I feel my clock ticking and hope I can make some progress with my plans. Have spent the last 6 or so years with dealing with various life issues but am making headway.

It's not likely that you'll find someone to buy the lot unless it's a a scrap yard who'll pay you for what it weighs. But you can whittle them down bit by bit. I'm where you are mentally and have the same problem.

A picture of the car and maybe a few of parts pile would help a lot in finding someone.
