Seat cushion compatibility in 123 vs 115

Does anyone know if a w123 back seat pad will work in a 1976 w115 240d? The look sooo close.

Looking at the parts diagrams, I would say not.

Not sure what you are looking to fix, but upholstery installers usually have to rebuild the existing rear pads. New fronts are available.

The rear out of a 108 will fit any 114 or 115. It's a bit tight but it will work because I have done this.

I could not find a rear seat that was not beat to death but I did run across a leather 109 from a 6.3. I took a chance since the color was right and sure enough, it fit. Tightly. But everything lined up and it did go in.

Are you asking about the "sit-down", the "lean-back", or both?
