They have a pair of pliers, three open-end wrenches 8-17mm, a spark plug wrench, a screwdriver handle, straight and phillips bits for the handle, and a lug wrench. All in a cloth cover with little pockets that rolls up with a string.

What sizes did they skip in the wrenches? Who would have been the manufacturer? Heyco? Hazet? Matador? Or are they just marked Mercedes and have the star?

For a guy with a flat cam lobe, you ask the damndest questions.

I have the remains of three tool kits from the various 114's I have owned over the years. I think the kit was 8-10, 11-13, 14-17.
The wrenches that I have are labeled Heyco, Matador, and Dowidat on one side, and they all have Mercedes Benz on the other, but no star.

Interestingly, the parts book does not show the wrenches.

LOL! I never said it was flat... just worn.. badly worn. Anyway I'm getting that fixed. In the meantime I have to have something to occupy my time ;-)
