Classic MB Station Wagon Websites???

Are there any websites that are devoted to classic MB Station Wagons? Been looking for some and I知 not really seeing any. Been wanting one but I知 struggling to find info on them so I can make a right selection.

TIA!

they are exceedingly expensive if you want a 50s (ponton) or 60s (heckflosse / finback) one that isn't a total basket case.

They are moderately expensive if you want an 80's W123 wagon that is decent.

The late 80s, 90s and early 2000's had the W124, W210 & W211 models. You can find them all over the map on price.

google those words + mercedes wagon and the right things should appear.

Anything from the 80s up is like any other factory produced car, except that it has 5 doors and some quirks unique to the layout.

The first thing to do is figure out what model you are wanting. MB make NO wagons before the 123 but there were private firms that converted them. Mostly for delivery service or ambulances or funeral cars.

And quality varied from one converter to another.

I do know the US customs will not allow, under any circumstances, the import of any ambulance built on a passenger car.

If you get one get the best you can find even if the cost seems a bit high. It will be the cheapest in the long run as the special wagon parts for a 111 are through the roof.
