Found '70 250C for sale -- good deal?
My son came across a 1970 250C for sale today in Birmingham, Alabama. It has 98,000 actual miles and is in great shape. The body has shiney black orginal paint with red (MB-Tex?) interior. As the story goes the car was driven by a little old lady (now deceased) and is being sold by the family. They are asking $2,000. The only apparent problem is the car will not start without first priming the carbs. They told my son that the car needed the "accelerator pump" fixed. Not sure what that means, but my son did hear the engine running and it ran smooth without any smoke. I am not that familiar with the W114, but this sounds like a great find for someone looking for a good coupe of this vintage. If anyone is interested let me know and I will try to get the contact info from my son.

Sounds like a nice car.
