oil cooler for 110 fintail
just want to know if an oil cooler can be fitted to my 200 gas M 121 fintail 1967 engine. My thinking of getting an oil filter assembly of a 115 or 116 engine that has existing oil cooler connections . can this be fitted and are the screw holes the same? if not are there any recommended oil cooler kits that can be fitted to my engine.

The mother of all aftermarket parts shops is still JCWhitney in Chicago...... Here's one that will also give you screw on cannister filter as part of the deal -
http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?Dx=mode+matchall&productId=5375&catalogId=10101&Ntx=mode+matchallany&langId=-1&storeId=10101 Otherwise you might try cannibalizing junkyard w123 diesel oil cooler and hoses (MB stock items).... then drill and tap your own hose fittings into your existing oil filter bracket. Am reasonably familiar with 111/110 cars and recall legendary 'Africa' modifications that include oil coolers, oil bath air filters, auxilliary radiator fans and extra large fuel tanks..... check with MBUSA and you might get lucky at importing the actual product from somewhere.

Why do you think the car needs one?
