280 se/sel grille
Question....are the 280 SE/SEL grilles interchangable across all model years? The 280 SEL I am buying needs a grille and I have found a couple in the local yards that I might be able to piece togeather for one good one.

No reason that any 108/109 grill wouldn't fit, AFAIK. In other words, 250S, 250SE, 280S, 280SE, 280SEL, 280SE 4.5, 280SEL 4.5, 300SEL, 300SEL 3.5, and 300SEL 4.5 grills should all fit (granted that it's a 108/109 chassis model).

interchangeable grilles
Grilles are interchangeable across all years in a given series.
So any 108 series from the original 250S right up to the last 280SEL 4.5 will have interchangeable grilles. In fact I think even a 109 grille will fit on a 108. - Peter.
