Your kit is the cheaper one, (early) The one with the diaphragm. As I remember the 2 check valves come separate, I would change those out as long as your in there. Keep the old ones for spares if there any good. When you reinstall the pump, hand rotate the engine so the LOWS on the "roller coster" track are "up & down" , you'll see what I mean when you get in there.
