Last night I fired up the benz, 81 300 D, Just to move it and when I shut the key off nothing happened. I mean it kept running. Since I've got fuel leaks and thus runs kinda crappy, I was able to put it in gear and it died.

Is there a choke/kill apparatus other then just shutting off the key?

I'm having problems with the charging system at the moment. Might the two issues be somehow interelated?
