Installing a remote start can be a challenge. Especially if you do not have much experience with 12volt electronics. However, if you are careful, and take your time, a remote start is not too difficult to install. I installed more than 50-60 of them when I was in the mobile electronics field. Michael is right, the vacuum locks are tricky, if the unit has the ability to provide a 3 second output to the door locks you can built a small 3 relay circuit that will work with the MB locks. If it doesn't have at least a 3 second pulse, then you will need to obtain an aftermarket adapter that will work with the vacuum system. If poking around with a DVM makes you nervous, then you should certainly seek professional installation, I have heard of more than one airbag being blown by a careless installer using a test light. Good luck, and if you need that relay diagram, let me know, and I will dig it up for you.
