thanks for the rust repair diy. i plan to weld some new sheet metal and supports on it. i used por15 years ago on my 1st 300sd and i loved the stuff.
the ignition cyliner feels fine, doesnt bind or anything, i may graphite it just to keep it working like new.

Rick Miley: thanks for the info on the timing chain. i just looked it all up and im gonna do the chain,all the guides and possibly the tensioner if it looks bad. how much harder is it to do than on a om617?
