Evaporator flushing w/o removing.....

Just a quick question: The only part of flushing the evap I'm having trouble picturing is how I get the flush into the evaporator. I don't have a flush gun, and will be using the pour and blow out with compressed air method.
The fittings for the evap that go into the exp valve point DOWN, so how best to get the flush into the evap?
