WVO Blend with Other. . .

I know.
You're tired of WVO threads.
You hate that anyone is running a precious MB on WVO.
For some of us, the WVO adventure is the main reason we got an MB.
BUT we also grow to love the MB for all the other wonderful things it is.
We'd go to a MB-WVO forum. The other forums, though good, are geared toward all cars. Since MB is an indirect injection, it's a bit different than talking about a VW TDI.

All that said, i'm in Denver where the temp is now 60+ overnight.
We decided to try blending WVO and diesel for the summer.
It's all filtered (cold filtered after weeks of settling, no nasty stuff)
and blended and in the tank. We took it for a drive and the car's sound smoothed out and so did the shaking. It sounds more like a gasser and the soothing vibration is gone (sadly, I really like the vibration).
It also seems to have MORE power. It pulled a hill that it normally doesn't like with sure ease. Now to see what kind of milage this tank gets. . .

I UNDERSTAND that some of you will feel I'm risking my car. Please refrain from reminding me of your opinion. I'm really writing to those of like mind,
if you don't like what i'm doing, don't respond. Thanks for that understanding.
