'86 is the W124, if if is a Euro, it has already been through the EPA/DOT certification, and is in your area for sale right?
Hardly any cars came into the USA after 1986 because the value of the DM changed as regards the US Dollar, and it would not make sense to think of bringing an '86 over her because the cost of importing it would be far far more than its market value. see
