1) yes...only difference between that & regular a/c button is the cycling of the compressor... with TOP button only the evap temp sensor cycles the compressor not in-car vs blend-air door & feed-back pot position.

3) only vacuum diaphrams for blend-air..foot-wells..& fresh-air on the W201 chassis.
