I have a 79cd too. I know you will truly enjoy this rare machine. I just put my first 1000 miles on mine and boy was it enjoyable. These machines are a rare breed in my area of N.C. Everyone wants to know what year it is. When I tell them, they can't believe it. Moreover, when I show them the mileage they really flip out. Yes, it only has 91000 original miles. The previous owner really pampered the car. Everything works. I did a 600 mile road trip over the labor day weekend, and I could not believe that I was driving a 22year old machine.
