a dude a few block from my house is selling a 81 280CE in very nice conditions for 1500 bucks... the car is zippy but it is a gas guzzler. I wonder. what to do.
This is in line with most of the prices for gassers with the noticeable exception of the SL's, 6.9, 6.3, after 1996. Otherwise most gas benz are dirt cheap. Saw also a nice white 1987 300TE at a dealer for 1000 bucks. The body was pristine, did not check the engine or tried it but still...
Coming back to pricing softening ... I did notice a softening of the prices of D on ebay. Wagons nowadays rarely brush the 7000 bucks mark.
