Cant you just do the left bank (currently 1 ohm) and disconnect the rear speakers at the doors?

Also, a 4ohm mid, and 4om tweeter are NOT a 2ohm load. With a multimeter they might be, but with an audio signal, its more complex than that. At bass frequencies, the tweeter is not in circuit (capacitor blocks it out), so it impedance doesnt count, and vice versa. So:

4ohm mid, and 4 ohm mid in parralell.... 2 ohm load

4ohm mid, 4 ohm tweet in parralel.... 4 ohm load

Make sense?
